Story About Losing Weight
By Wan Mohd Hirwani Wan Hussain
Are you realistic about your weight-loss goal? Remember, losing as little as 10 to 20 pounds can improve your health if you're overweight or obese. Ask your doctor how much weight you can safely lose.
Here's a guide to understanding and dealing with childhood obesity. If you're overweight or obese, you are not alone - you're among nearly 130 million other U.S. adults. Obesity is the second leading cause of preventable death and is closely linked to conditions such as heart disease, cancer, diabetes, arthritis, gout, asthma, and gum disease. WebMD has created a weight loss clinic to addresses this public health epidemic.
Vegetarian Food
Natural weight loss with a vegetarian diet or raw food diet is healthy weight loss. Natural appetite suppressants like hoodia weight loss or green tea weight loss are the best weight loss supplements. There are no weight loss vitamins, only natural appetite suppressant.
Eat Balanced Meal
To lose weight safely and effectively, a well balanced diet from the Food Guide Pyramid consuming enough high carbohydrate (low and moderate glycemic index) foods for energy and lowering fat consumption to reduce calories is recommended rather than following a very low calorie diet. It is also important not to eliminate all fat from the diet. The body needs some fats for normal operation. The best fats are monounsaturated (canola oil, olive oil, peanut oil, almonds, pecans, peanuts, walnuts, and avocados).
Diet and Exercise
Diet and exercise are vital strategies for losing and maintaining weight. A study by the National Weight Control Registry found that nearly all of 784 study participants who had lost at least 30 pounds, and had maintained that loss for one year or longer, used diet and exercise to not only lose the weight, but also to maintain the weight loss.
The Result
Once the desired weight has been reached, the gradual addition of about 200 calories of healthy, low-fat food to daily intake may be attempted for one week to see if weight loss continues. If weight loss does continue, additional calories of healthy foods may be added to the daily diet until the right balance of calories to maintain the desired weight has been determined. It may take some time and record keeping to determine how adjusting food intake and exercise levels affect weight.

Electric Scooters - Types and Transportation
By Sam Knopler
When you have difficulty walking, you might consider something that requires a lot of walking, like going to Disney World, to be completely out of reach. Even just moving around the house may seem difficult, but if you use an electric scooter, then you can go places that you did not think were possible anymore.
Electric scooters, also frequently called mobility scooters, are mobility vehicles designed to transport a single seated individual. They are similar to electric power wheelchairs, but electric scooters are controlled by an adjustable handlebar, called a tiller. These types of adult scooters greatly restore a person's mobility and the places that they can go.
The range of an electric scooter varies by model. Some are capable of traveling over 40 miles per charge at speeds of 12 miles per hour. Others have a much reduced range of around 10 miles per charge, but can be taken apart easily to make transportation much easier. No matter what the type is though, they all allow an individual to easily and painlessly get around.
Scooters that are made to be disassembled into easy to handle pieces are referred to as travel scooters. These types of scooters do not have a lot of features or a very large range, but when disassembled, it is possible to place a travel scooter in the trunk of a car or transport it on a plane with ease. The reason these types of scooters do not have as many features is because they are designed to be as lightweight as possible. In fact usually the heaviest piece of a travel scooter will be around 30 pounds.
The major advantage of a travel scooter is its ease of transport. Most people find that they can quickly and easily move their mobility scooter without assistance. If you purchase a non-travel scooter and intend to use it away from the home, you might have to invest in a scooter carrier for your car. There are a few different types of scooter carriers and they are either installed internally or externally.
An external scooter lift is usually very easy to install. They attach to a vehicles hitch and so usually just slide on. Some external scooter carriers are powered by the cars battery and so require minimal installation, some use a rechargeable battery, and some do not use any power at all. The Tilt-N-Go is one popular type of scooter carrier that does not require any power. It can be quickly installed to a Class II hitch or a Class III hitch, but in order to utilize all of its lifting capacity, you should use it with a Class III hitch.
Internal scooter lifts usually require a little bit more of an installation and either use a pulley to lift the scooter or a platform to raise the scooter in a manner similar to an elevator. These types are usually installed in the passenger compartments of vans or in the trunk area.
Many scooters that are not classified as travel scooters can still be easily taken apart for transport. Typically these types of scooters will be much heavier than a travel scooter, so you might not be able to easily move it without assistance.
Sam Knopler is has had experience with many types of Electric Scooters. If you are interested in learning about travel scooters, scooter lifts, or other types of mobility equipment visit electricscooters4less.com today.

Understanding the Colors of Fashion
By Charles Johnson
It seems like styles and colors go in and out of favor so often that it's almost impossible to keep up with what's in style at any given moment. Try as you might to keep up with what's going on in the fashion world, before you know it the trend has passed and you find yourself wearing something that's tragically out of fashion. Don't fret, it's not as hard as it seems when you learn a few basic secrets about the fashion world. One of the first things you should understand is the colors of current fashion trends and why certain seasons seem to be made for certain color groups.
If you have absolutely no other sense of style, you should at least understand that most fashion revolves around the different colors of the seasons and how those influence the way we dress ourselves. For example, light airy colors are generally more accepted in the spring months because they symbolize the awakening of everything from the cold grasp of winter. The days are getting longer, people are emerging from their homes to begin running and walking again and the sun is encouraging the budding flowers to leave their winter shells. These kinds of pastel colors are also closely associated with Easter, May Day, and other various spring time holiday events.
Going into the summer months you'll start to notice people wearing brighter colors. Most bathing suits are bright blue, red, yellow, and orange. They're meant to draw people's eyes and to celebrate the wonder and excitement that's part of summer. If you think about most of the decorations that are put out for summer or the clothing you see people around you wearing during these hot months, you'll find that some of the most vibrant colors and patterns are being used during this time. If you're shopping for a new summer wardrobe, try to choose some of these bright colors and stay away from dull browns and grays.
The fall is often a little bit trickier than the colors associated with spring and summer because most of the colors that you see in fashion in the fall center on some type of bronze look. There are many different shades of brown, burnt orange, navy blue, and some of the darker, dustier pink shades, off white, and maroon. These colors too, are a reflection of the season and the mood that grips us during this time. While the changing of the colors may not be as noticeable in climates where the temperature doesn't drastically sway from hot to downright cold, there's still some subtle changes that seem to make people more conscious of their fashion color palate.
Winter is probably the most noticeable of the seasonal color changing. Most often you'll find people wearing dark colors during this time, including black, navy, dark brown, and forest green. Sometimes you'll also find people wearing white, but not as often as the traditional black coat and navy suit. This is because the days have gotten shorter, there is no longer as much daylight left to bask in during a normal day and most people find themselves going to work and coming home in darkness. Therefore, their entire fashion world starts to mimic the outside world and how they are feeling.
Of course, these are just general rules - no one will laugh at you for wearing a black suit during the summer time. However, being aware of these guidelines and their implications will help you plan a perfect wardrobe for any time of the year.

Single Muslim Women - Equal To Men Yet Different
By Tracy Ives
Whether it be single Muslim women or men the Koran is addressed to all the Muslims and it says that the male and female 'were created of the single soul '.The women's right as per the Islam religion are the right to obtain education, to work and earn, to own independent property, equality of rewards for equal work, to express the opinion and to be heard, to refuse marriage that does not please her and so on and so forth.
Women's dress as per the Islamic culture is based on the principle of female modesty, purity and chastity. Some of them wear a modest dress which includes loose clothing and a scarf over the head and under the chin, and some wear a burkah which is a complete covering from head, face down to the toes.
Muslim women have played a vital role in the Muslim community. Early Muslim women served the community through scholarships, teaching, nursing and other important activities. In Islam there is absolutely no difference between the men and the women as far as the relationship to Allah is concerned, as both are rewarded in the same way for good conduct and punished in the same way for bad conduct.
Single Muslim women have certain restrictions in the society. They cannot expose their beauty; they should not go to public baths and swimming pools during the common hours where men also come. They must lower their eyes and not see men with bad intentions. They should be careful in the dance halls and gymnasiums and they should be allowed to go to the mosque if they desire so.
The only Muslim country which forces the women to wear hijab is Iran. In other countries, the women are given a choice about the hijab depending upon the degree of faith they have in the reading of the religious texts. The hijab should be worn only when she goes out of her family home. A Muslim female is required to dress in a particular way when she goes in the public. A Kashmiri Muslim woman wears a loose pheran up to knee length. They also wear bunches of ear rings, the weight of it will be supported by a thick silver chain. On the whole, the women's modest dress protects the society from adultery and other illegal sexual relations that lead to the break up of families and corruption of the society.
Muslim men and women must lower their gazes. They should not mix with each other. There is no dating, dancing, or mixed social gatherings in Islam. To help the men and women to find their best life partner without dating in person, there are many dating agencies and online agencies which help them to come across prospective partners sitting at home.
The modern Muslims have become broadminded and there is a lot of understanding and little more freedom is given to the younger generation but at the same time the knowledge of Koran and the religious faith is kept under consideration.

One of the first and most important steps in finding menopause relief is to recognize what is triggering your night sweats and hot flashes. These are the most complained about menopause symptoms and can almost always be helped.
Once you learn that the night sweats are an indication of your hormones being out of balance, you discover that you can take action to bring them back into balance, and thus help reduce the night sweats. This approach is much better than just taking some kind of medication to relieve the annoyance temporarily.
Stress is one of the main triggers
If you observe your hot flashes and night sweats for a few weeks, you will recognize a pattern of sorts. For example: if you are worried about finances, or are having trouble with a teenager or partner, very often the hot flashes are more frequent.
Fatigue also places stress on the hormonal system because the adrenal glands become exhausted from trying to keep pumping out adrenaline to keep you alert and on your toes. Eventually, they just slow down and the hormonal production is affected. This, in turn, makes you ripe for more hot flashes.
Excessive caffeine has a similar effect on the adrenals. The stimulating dose of caffeine perks you up, and then wears off, making your hormones like a yo-yo. Up and down, up and down, until you are exhausted, which sets you up for more symptoms of menopause.
Keep a journal
Writing down the circumstances and conditions of your hot flashes will ensure that you notice some kind of pattern. When you see it on paper it is much easier to recognize some similarities in their occurrence and the surroundings.
Like most things, if you don't write it down, chances are you will forget or fail to see the patterns. It could even lead you to see related things as well that you were previously unaware of. One woman I know thought there was no connection at all between her stress levels and hot flashes, until she began recording them. It became clear that whenever she was around people she considered to be important she had hot flashes. She also realized who she was regarding as important!
What if you have tried everything already?
Some women are healthy, they monitor their stress levels, they eat well, take vitamins, but still they have these annoying hot flashes and night sweats. What more can you do?
Begin at the beginning. Keeping a journal will not require much time or effort, but can very likely help you find some lasting menopause relief. Start working consciously on the triggers that bring on the hot flash. If it is spicy food, cut out the spicy food. If it is being around important people, work on managing your stress through deep breathing and your attitude.
Find the connections, and there will certainly be some, and make a plan of action. Educate yourself by reading quality materials. Eat the foods you know make a difference, get the rest you know you need, de-stress your life, if possible. Maybe the supplements you take could be improved on. Recent studies have shown real promise in flax seed, for instance. Just don't give up and suffer needlessly!
